FunFair @ IIS Dammam

Int'l Indian School Dammam had organised the FunFair on 26th April 07, Thursday at the Boys Section Campus.

Thousands of people flocked into the school from 2 pm even till 10 pm in the night!

The school had won the patronage of bigshot and professional indians here in ksa. The main sponsors included Pan Gulf, Radicon Gulf Consultants, TATA Motors ( now gonna sell in ksa, indian made cars!! ), Qatar Airways, Air-India, Dar-As-Sihha Dispensaries who conducted children competitions - essay writing, fancy dress, drawing, etc. plus they had setup a free medical camp!!!

When IISBuzz reporters set out to take reviews and feedback, they received a cocktail of opinions.
"Nothing new or unique, all same as other funfairs" one bored visitor had quoted, probably annoyed having wasted his time there! lol
"Well, i loved it, i spent my whole time here! I met my old pals , teasing the salespeople and others!" a lad said in a hysterical laughter!!

There were more than a hundred stalls and outlets.
For those who had left the fair early - Rani and Igloo were distributing juices and ice-creams for free at the end of the day!!
Stalls who couldnt run out of stock, gave away the Aloo Chats, Bhel puris Samosas etc free of cost!!

It was good having experienced this event which is held only once in 4 years!

The main objective of organising this event was to raise fund for IISD's Special Child Care Section and also to financially support the under-privileged students.

FID Underground 'Agents' were also spread out in the field - distributing the adverts of www.fidunderground.com

Well words , merely words, cannot explain the gravity of enthralling fun and enjoyment we all had there!
